Promise to the Planet

As the creator of Promise to the Planet, I led the development of a global, youth‑powered climate campaign co‑designed with volunteers and young people in more than 20 countries. Working alongside partners including the World Organisation of the Scout Movement, WWF, the Cabinet Office, and the United Nations, I shaped the vision, strategy and storytelling that turned local action into a worldwide movement.

Key achievements + results 

• Over 2,000 youth‑led projects delivered across 55 countries

• 100,000,000 hours of environmental social action - from tree‑planting to ocean clean‑ups

• 12,000 young people in the UK took part - across all nations

I worked closely with volunteers, young people and public figures to bring this message to the world stage. Our youth delegation, joined by then Chief Scout Bear Grylls, delivered powerful calls for action at COP26, while TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined campaign activities in Glasgow, amplifying the movement’s reach and urgency.

Promise to the Planet showed global leaders that young people aren’t just asking for a sustainable future, they’re already building it. My role was to help them be heard.
